The El Salvador International Airport, named after Saint Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez, is the primary airport serving San Salvador, the capital city of El Salvador. It is located in the town of San Luis Talpa, about 50 kilometers south of San Salvador. The airport serves as a hub for both domestic and international flights, connecting El Salvador to various destinations across Central and North America, as well as to Europe.
