City Palace reviews

A well maintained heritage palace in Jaipur. A part of it belongs to the royal family and lot of old timer artist present their work at the palace. Worth a visit and if interested one can buy perfumes, paintings, clothing etc at reasonable price. Guides are good for knowing history, but don't fall pray to their advice for buying the goods inside unless you trust your senses.

One can visit the museum or the city palace which is well maintained and spectacular from inside. Entrance tickets for the palace are quite expensive but it’s worth a visit with a guide. The blue room, mirror room and gold room were the highlights and were all breathtaking.

It’s recommended to visit with a guide, as there’s a wealth of information around the palace that can greatly enhance your experience. The well-maintained museums showcase fascinating royal artifacts, each with its own unique story. Enjoy the rich architecture, with its intricate details, and the vibrant, colorful paintings that bring the palace to life.

The City Palace in Jaipur is a must-visit for anyone interested in the history and heritage of Rajasthan! The palace complex is beautiful, with grand architecture, intricate artwork, and stunning courtyards. We loved exploring the museums and royal collections, including the traditional costumes, weapons, and artifacts that give a glimpse into the royal lifestyle. The palace is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. It can get crowded, so going early is ideal. A perfect spot for photography, and the Peacock Gate is especially mesmerizing!

It's a palace worth visiting for its interiors. Get a guide for yourself for the best information of the palace. You can easily find any guide outside the palace, no need to worry as they are all government verified. You can take photos at some spots like the gates, also in some parts of the palace photography is not allowed, such as in some museum. So wait for the instructions given by the guide and then proceed with your photography.
