Albert Hall Museum

Albert Hall Museum

The museum is housed in a magnificent Indo-Saracenic-style building, designed by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob. It was opened in 1887 and is one of the oldest museums in Rajasthan. The architecture itself is a major attraction and a fine example of the fusion of Indian and European architectural styles.

Albert Hall Museum reviews

Surprisingly, I had never heard of this monument before but as it was part of my travel itinerary, we visited this. It's a place worth visiting. Items in this museum are worth seeing and appreciating. Anyone who appreciates art and history can easily spend hours here.

This museum houses one of the most beautiful artifacts. And go there in the evening. The view from outside when the lights are switched, looks like u r from another Era. There is an Egyptian Mummy embalmed and kept for more than 4 to 5 centuries and the x ray taken in 2011 still shows that the bones are still intact.

It was a good experience visiting this museum. The place is centrally air conditioned. It has that historic charm and multiple antique pieces from various countries. It even holds a female mummy which was pretty unique. Overall was a great experience. You can even hire a guide who will give you a tour in about 2 hours explaining everything.

Albert hall is my favourite attraction in Jaipur. One can spend whole day navigating their art collection. Once you’re done visiting Albert Hall go to Masala Chowk for food/drinks. Everything there is fairly priced.

Great place and lot of things to check here, they also did a pretty good job in helping people navigate to different parts of the museum which is missing in the other places like amber fort, also there is a food court nearby😋
